To all the people saying "this didn't age well after the covid vaccines:" here's some homework. Go on Google Scholar and look up papers comparing death rates for those vaccinated vs unvaccinated against covid. Notice how the vaccinated rates are slightly lower, or when ignoring covid deaths, exactly the same? It's almost like you were lied to by fearmongering charlatans online trying to make a quick buck off ad revenue.
The way this very serious subject that has massive ramifications on our children was handled in this video is truly horrific. It does not matter what your opinion on this matter is, absolutely no one should ever act so cavalier about debilitating conditions and diseases. To yell and curse like this when all any parent ever wants to do is provide the best care for their child is absolutely shameful. There are probably thousands of parents who do things that I disagree with, but if I ever want to convince them of my opinions and stances acting like this is the last thing that would ever achieve that.Penn and Teller should be absolutely ashamed of this.

This is a false argument. Simply showing that vaccines protect people from various diseases does not address the question of whether or not they are responsible for the statistical rise in cases of Autism.
Vaccines don't cause autism and even if they did anti-vaccination would still be bullshit. Penn says this in the video.
You know this is a clip from a whole episode right. There evidence that vaccines don't cause autism is plentiful with studies done on huge numbers. The evidence that vaccines cause autism was a single study on 12 children by a doctor who was paid off by a lawyer because he wanted to make money for suing mmr vaccine producers and the kids found for the study were the people who wanted to do the lawsuit and even then the study lied about when autistic symptoms first arrived or even if the children had autism because Wakefield was a gut doctor not a psychiatrist. Read the doctor who fooled the world by BriannDeer if you want a proper argument, even watch this whole episode. The whole point of this skit from the episode is that even if the autism vaccine myth was true then it would still not be a reason to deny vaccinations. Oh and wake field patented a measles vaccine before releasing his study because he knew the study would make people go for the single vaccine

Almost like this is 1 section clipped from a larger episode where they make an argument. The only argument they do cause Autism was the rescinded Wakeman report which he only did to peddle his own Measles vaccination.
